I am Yoonjong Chun, President of the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT).

KIAT is a public institution established under the Ministry of Trade,
Industry and Resources to achieve the goal of industrial technology innovation.
We carry out nine core functions to promote innovation across the entire industrial technology ecosystem :
establishing industrial technology policies, strengthening the supply chain for materials,
parts, and equipment, building industrial technology infrastructure,
fostering regional industries, nurturing industrial talent, facilitating international cooperation,
supporting middle-sized enterprises, innovating regulations, and promoting technology commercialization.

The Republic of Korea is a country with outstanding industrial competitiveness
and world-class manufacturing capabilities.

KIAT will take the lead in solving common challenges of the future through technology innovation
